Darul Quran was set up to help people learn and improve their Quranic recitation. Alhamdulillah, many people have benefitted from the expertise of our experienced and friendly teachers. We have students of all ages and abilities.

What is Tajweed?

Tajweed refers to the manner in which the Quran is read, down to the pronunciation of each letter, so we may recite as the Prophet (saw) recited. Learning how to read the Quran correctly is an obligation for all Muslims. The ideal way in which to learn how to read with Tajweed is under the guidance of a qualified teacher so mistakes may be corrected and recitation improved and beautified.

Alhamdulillah, we are now re-launching tajweed classes for men. Students can attend either morning or evening sessions and attend as many days they wish from Monday to Thursday. The teachers are proficient and excellent reciters.
